Deed Restrictions

The 2 important functions of any Deed Restriction document are to preserve the value of homes and maintain quality of life for those living within the community.

If one or two homes on a street suffer from lack of maintenance, poor color choice, overgrown weeds/grass, trash/abandoned cars, broken windows, etc, other homes in the surrounding area immediately start to lose their value.

Preserving the value of homes is achieved by keeping the properties in the neighborhood as well maintained and insures all homes in the area have the same basic architecture and "curb appeal".

A copy of the individual sectioned Deed Restrictions are available at the Alief Library (Kirkwood and Hendon) for your review.

Deed Restriction violations are resolved with BWCIA and our neighborhood’s maintenance company, SCS Management Services.  If you have any questions, or would like to request an architectural change document for any changes to your home or yard, you can contact SCS at (281) 463-1777.
