This site puts hiring professionals in the marketplace in
contact with former Enron employees severed after December 3, 2001.
Details:
Enron HR contacted me just after the mass lay-offs about a "rouge"
Enron website I had been developing.
The site, "Enron Offline", was for my friends and former co-workers
to post their resumes and job skills for
future employers to view.
Enron's HR wanted to use the concept to build an Enron-sponsored
site, and tie it directly to Enron's contacts in the community and in
the job market. This provided greater exposure for former
employees to potential new career prospects. The initial site
was set up in less than two weeks, and development continued for
months as new features were added.
CareerServices was featured in the news several times, and has clearly
been one of the most successful company-supported career-transition
tools in the marketplace to date.
