Games are started only when 2 people are "seated" and have both pressed the "Start" button.

To be seated, when you first log into a table, make sure your Yahoo ID shows up above either the left or right side of the table. If your name isn't listed, press the "SIT" button (not shown).

You can leave a game at any time by clicking the "Stand Up" button, but by doing so, you forfit the game and your opponent is awarded your points.  A typical game can last 3 to 5 minutes, longer for newer players.  So don't start a game unless you know you won't be interupted.

Notice on this game in the top-center of the table, there is a timer. Not all games are timed, however, when they are, you are required to make your shot before the time runs out (usually 15 to 30 seconds).  If you are just starting out, you may want to aviod timed games.

Once everyone presses "Start", one of the players will be allowed to "break".
